At Dirty Cows we pride ourselves on providing a fully managed, bespoke housekeeping service tailored to your precise cleaning, tidying and organising requirements. Our Housekeepers are discrete, professional employees with the utmost respect for your home and your privacy.  The difference between our housekeeping services and our regular weekly cleaning services is frequency and length of cleaning visits per week, the detail and expectation of cleaning tasks required and their organised and planned for cleaning rotations. Our housekeeping clients would like us to take overall responsibility for the arranging, organisation, tidying, washing, ironing and cleaning of their homes and work spaces and for us to manage a fully serviced housekeeping routine for them.  Dirty Cows is a professional company and not an agency which finds self-employed cleaners work and we do not franchise out our cleaning services. These are very important distinctions to make when considering the right housekeeping service for your home and being a company gives us complete control over the quality, consistency and reliability of our service. We have over 10 years of professional experience and research behind us and we know that there is nothing more important to a successful business than the quality of its service and the calibre of its employees.

Our Cleaning Consultations.

Before we assign a housekeeper to your home we will carry out a detailed and comprehensive cleaning consultation with you at your property. In our experience the fine detail cleaning flourishes are unique to every client and every home and asking the right questions and identifying these important specifications is crucial to receiving an exceptional cleaning service. In fact we think it is so important we will not provide a cleaning service to a client without a consultation first taking place. Our Housekeeping Consultation Mangers are very adept at listening and identifying the fine cleaning details of your home and daytime and evening appointments are available for your convenience. You are also under no obligation to take on our services just because we have visited your home, we have a very strict company policy regarding the non-harassment of new client enquiries. This means that once your cleaning consultation is complete and we have answered all of your questions, we wait to hear from you.

Our Housekeepers.

Once you have confirmed that you would like to proceed with our housekeeping services we use the information gathered at your cleaning consultation to generate a bespoke housekeeping schedule which is unique to you and your home. We will identify which of our ‘Exceptional Housekeepers’ is the best match for your cleaning requirements and contact you to confirm a first clean visit, where we will induct and initiate your housekeeper in the fine details of your home and required housekeeping tasks . You will be assigned a named head housekeeper for the continuity and consistency of every clean and you will not be sent unfamiliar cleaners every visit. Our Quality Managers.

Our Quality Managers will keep in touch with you and carry out regular random spot checks at your home. The spot checks are designed to ensure that your cleaning schedule and details are up to date, that your cleaner is working in the most efficient and organised manner and performing each clean to our trademark high standards and in conjunction with your requests. It is also a very useful visit for our employees, as we can provide up to date advice on new cleaning products and practises, health safety and maintain an important line of communication with our staff. The visits also enable our Quality Managers to carry out an important employee performance checks which contributes to the ‘Exceptional Employee of the Month’ data.


All of our employees are trained to have the utmost respect for your home and your privacy and any sensitive data or paperwork that may be present in your home or work places. Our company polices relating to the protection of your privacy, confidentiality of corporate and personal information are strict and numerous and adhered to by all staff. These are important reassurances for our high profile clients where confidentially and press intrusion is an extremely important factor.

Our Service area.

Our housekeeping services are based in Surrey and we advise all clients to check that we cover their area before booking a cleaning consultation. Our confirmed areas of coverage for our regular cleaning services are: Kingston Upon Thames, Richmond, Kew, Barnes, Wimbledon, Twickenham, Teddington, Surbiton, Thames Ditton, Long Ditton, Esher, Claygate, Molesey, Hampton Court, Walton on Thames, Hersham, Weybridge, Cobham, St Georges Hill, Burwood Park, Claire Hill, Fairmile ….. and surrounding areas.

Rate and Contract Period.

Dirty Cows charge a set hourly rate of £16.00 Plus VAT  for our professional housekeeping services.

We have a minimum hourly requirement of 2hours per visit and a 4 week notice period of cancellations of individual cleans or contracts.
